Up for sale is a lot of "Lost in Space" comics produced by Innovation Comics in the early 1990s, as well as the rare "Voyage to the Bottom of the Soul" trade paperback. The lot includes the following. Lost in Space (Innovation Comics) issues #1, 3, 5, 6, and 8 through 18 Note: Issue #13 is the silver embossed variant and includes a collectible trading card. Lost in Space (Innovation Comics) Annual #2 (Debbie the Bloop).

Lost in Space: Project Robinson (Innovation Comics) issue #1 (Maureen Robinson early years). Lost in Space: Voyage to the Bottom of the Soul (Bubblehead Publishing) Trade Paperback. The first year of the Innovation series (issues #1-12) bring the characters to the conclusion of their journey to Alpha Centauri, and the second year of the series (issues #13-18), written by series star Bill Mumy, cover what happens after they arrive.

Issues #13-18 cover the first six parts of a planned twelve part storyline. Unfortunately, Innovation ceased publishing after issue #18 and the storyline was left hanging for years until Mr. Mumy was able to publish the entire 12 part story as the "Voyage to the Bottom of the Soul" trade paperback; therefore, please note that the trade paperback reprints issues #13 through 18 of the Innovation comic.

The storylines in these books form a nice continuation of the original TV series, and a good prelude to the conclusion of the original series, which was the surviving actors' "table read" included in the Lost in Space Complete Series DVD box set published a few years ago (not included in this lot). The Innovation comics are in excellent condition, very clean and flat with sharp edges and minimal wear on the spines. The trade paperback has noticeable wear on the spine and edges of the front and back covers, but otherwise is clean and very readable with no rips or tears.
